Major traditional buildings and historical sites in Osaka City include Osaka Castle Main Tower, Naniwa Palace Ruins, Sumiyoshi Taisha, Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, and Shitennoji Temple. Among them, Sumiyoshi Taisha has been designated as a National Treasure of Japan.
