Each adult ticket holder may bring up to 2 children aged 1‑5 for free (children cannot occupy a seat separately); starting from the 3rd child, a child ticket must be purchased.
JR Pass is only applicable to non‑Japanese passport holders with a “Temporary Visitor” visa. Non‑Japanese passport holders with permanent residence in Japan are not eligible.
Please obtain a “Temporary Visitor” stamp/sticker upon entry in order to use the JR Pass legally. If you use the automated gate, you will not be able to obtain the aforementioned stamp/sticker.

Partial refund policy: After redeeming physical tickets, cancellation can be processed at a JR ticket office (Green Window). A handling fee equivalent to 10% of the official JR Pass price will be charged.
The voucher can be used within the redemption period. No refund will be given if the voucher/ticket has already been redeemed or has expired.
Cancellation before voucher redemption: 0% cancellation fee applies.
