A must‑play ski trip for Kansai winters! Set off easily from Osaka and head straight to Hakodate‑yama Ski Resort, boasting unbeatable views over Lake Biwa — Japan's largest lake — making it one of the premier resort ski destinations in Kansai. Unlike ordinary snow‑sliding experiences, every descent from the 690‑metre summit offers sweeping views of the vast lake and snowy landscape. Ski while embracing breathtaking scenery for a truly romantic winter experience!

No need to struggle up the slopes — take the gondola for just 8 minutes from the base straight to the ski runs for a comfortable and effortless ride. Along the way, snow‑covered forests layered in white pair perfectly with the crystal‑clear views of Lake Biwa, making every snapshot a stunning winter masterpiece. Escape the crowds entirely and savour a peaceful time on the snow.

Specially designed gentle beginner slopes for ski novices, paired with structured group lessons, mean even those who have never skied before can give it a try with confidence. The resort features high‑quality, abundant snow officially certified by Shiga, along with professional instructors fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. With patient, hands‑on teaching — from gear fitting and basic stance to braking and turning — you'll progress step by step and master your skiing skills in no time, gliding effortlessly across the snow.

The resort features a dedicated kids' snow park equipped with moving walkways, so little ones can enjoy playing in the snow and sledding to their heart's content without the effort of climbing slopes — all day long. Whether it's a romantic date, a trip with friends, or a family outing, there's something for everyone. The resort's 10 ski runs cover all levels — beginner, intermediate and advanced (25% beginner, 50% intermediate, 25% advanced) — so novices can practise and experts can carve to their heart's content, all in one place.

Round‑trip transfers from Osaka and dedicated on‑site guidance are provided throughout, so you can skip all the transport planning. A variety of packages caters to different needs: Plan A — All‑inclusive Beginner Package, ideal for those with zero experience, covering full ski equipment, gondola tickets and lessons in one go; Plan B — Great‑value Ski Package, perfect for ski enthusiasts wanting to carve up the slopes; Plan C — Self‑service Ski Pass, designed for seasoned players with their own gear, offering ease and convenience; Plan D — Snow‑viewing Transfer Pass, specially designed for family snow outings, making it easy to keep the kids entertained. Face masks, gloves, goggles and other accessories are also available for rental or purchase on site — everything you need, all in one place.

No need to bring your own gear or do any homework — transport, entry and ski lessons are all taken care of from start to finish. Book this winter‑exclusive Lake Biwa ski trip now and create unforgettable snow‑filled memories in Kansai!
