Osaka events

Music festivals in Japan often offer distinct local atmospheres, and Chillin' Vibes is built entirely around a relaxed picnic style. Set against the natural backdrop of Expo Commemorative Park in Osaka, the event invites attendees to spread out sheets on the lawn and enjoy live performances. The 2026 edition continues this tradition, combining musical acts, food booths utilising local Osaka produce, and family-friendly workshops.

Main Stage and Live Performances

The main stage features a diverse lineup of established and contemporary artists performing live sets. Visitors can look forward to performances by Mao Abe, ohashiTrio, Kariyushi58, GLIM SPANKY, Larala Sugimoto, and Yu Takahashi.

Sub Stage, DJ Area, and Welcome Acts

In addition to the main stage, the sub stage and DJ area host independent and rising acts such as Suiheisen, Kazunari Takagi from Re:name, Fluffy, blend house, and the Po, alongside opening and closing DJ sets. Younger emerging musicians from Osaka will also perform welcome acts, starting with Kono. Radio DJs Daigo Iimuro and Junko Uchida from FM802 will serve as the event masters of ceremony.

Workshops and Activities

Running alongside the music, the festival features hands-on workshops coordinated with the OSAKA MUSIC & CULTURE WEEKEND held within the park. Sessions are scheduled four times a day at 11:30, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00, with registration beginning 30 minutes before each session at the Momijigawa Lawn Area. Participants can join the Lego workshop led by Makkon, a Master Model Builder from LEGOLAND Discovery Center Tokyo, or the balloon art workshop hosted by Fufu Enman. Each workshop costs 300 yen, requiring a separate park admission fee.
