Cinecitta World, Rome's celebrated film and television theme park — along with its sister parks AquaWorld and Roma World — is pulling out all the stops for anyone spending the summer in the Eternal City, with a full programme of events planned for Ferragosto (15 August), Italy's biggest summer holiday.

Expect swimming pools, water games, and adrenaline-pumping attractions galore. On Ferragosto, Cinecitta World will host a massive Bonita Pool Party, one of Italy's most popular reggaeton, hip-hop and urban music formats beloved by young Italians across the country.
Over at the Cinepiscina pool area, three DJ sets will keep the energy high with foam parties, group dance sessions and Zumba classes. AquaWorld will transform into a Ferragosto music-and-fun paradise. And while the Bonita Party has guests dancing the day away, the rest of the park stays in full swing — from the heart-racing thrills of Altair (a roller coaster with 10 inversions) to the immersive flight experience of Volarium, from the aquatic adventures of Aktium to the cinematic atmosphere of Inferno.
For those seeking a truly original adventure, Roma World — the ancient Rome-themed park — offers a Ferragosto journey back in time. Highlights include gladiator shows, falconry displays, archery, farm animal encounters, traditional Taberna dinners, and the brand-new nighttime spectacular "Roma Aeterna — The Oath of the Elements". The Legionary Village takes the immersion even further, with the option to camp overnight in tents and live a full day as an ancient Roman.
