Vallerano's Notte delle Candele: 100,000 Candles Light Up an Italian Hilltop Village

SaveA hundred thousand candles in a single night. The enchanting Notte delle Candele (Candle Night) returns to Vallerano, a hilltop village in the province of Viterbo, for its eagerly awaited summer edition.

Widely considered one of Lazio's most anticipated summer events, it takes place on 29 August and transforms every alley and square of the village into an open-air spectacle.
Expect more than 100,000 candles, over 30 performances, plus food areas, parking and shuttle buses. This year's route follows the theme of "the seasons," with lanes and squares shifting atmosphere at every turn. Installations, performances, live music and street art guide visitors along an uninterrupted itinerary, letting the village itself lead the way.
