Chiikawa Artiverse Lands at K11 Musea Hong Kong: Giant Carousel, 130 Original Artworks & Limited Merch

Japan's beloved character Chiikawa returns to Hong Kong with "Chiikawa Artiverse," a major exhibition running from August 1 to September 6, 2026 at K11 Musea and the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. Organised by creative studio AllRightsReserved (ARR) in collaboration with Spiralcute International, the exhibition transforms Chiikawa's whimsical universe into a sprawling cosmic experience.

The outdoor "Kinetic Art Universe" at the K11 Musea waterfront features the world's first Chiikawa giant carousel with 16 seats, set against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour. Due to safety concerns identified during final inspections, the carousel will remain stationary throughout the exhibition and serve as a photo backdrop instead.

Inside the sixth-floor exhibition halls, three immersive zones await. The "Original Art Universe" showcases 130 precious original illustrations by creator Nagano. The "Musical Interactive Universe" recreates iconic scenes through a pyjama-party-themed immersive soundscape. The "Installation Art Universe" features multiple Chiikawa sculptures, including the global debut of the "extra fluffy" versions of Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, plus a giant "Siren" sculpture and film characters enhanced with light and sound technology.

The ultra-limited Carousel Seat & Special Set at HK$550 includes all perks plus one carousel photo session and a commemorative card. From August 6, limited regular-price tickets will be available: HK$170 (ages 4-11) or HK$200 (ages 12+).
