"Hermès of Thai Milk Tea" Karun Opens at Airside Kai Tak This October
Thai premium milk tea brand Karun Thai Tea has announced its Hong Kong debut, opening at Shop 220, 2/F, Airside in Kai Tak in October 2026. Dubbed the "Hermès of Thai milk tea", Karun is a must-try for travellers visiting Bangkok, with netizens raving it is "so good you'll drink three cups a day".
Karun: The Ceiling of Thai Milk Tea Arrives in Hong Kong
Unlike ordinary street-side Thai milk tea, Karun places greater emphasis on the flavour of the tea base. Its signature Traditional Thai Tea has a bright orange hue — a rich tea aroma hits first, followed by a creamy milk note for a rich yet balanced mouthfeel. Beyond the classic iced milk tea, the brand also offers Thai tea slushies, hot Thai milk tea and black tea. The Thai tea slushie, with its silky texture and fusion of intense tea flavour and icy refreshment, is perfect for hot weather.
