Ferragosto at Rome's Luneur Park: Kids' Splash Zone & Free Luna Village Night Festival
Celebrating Italy's Ferragosto (August Bank Holiday) with little ones aged 0–10? Make your way to Luneur Park, the family-friendly amusement park nestled in the heart of Rome's EUR district. The day begins at the Splash Zone — a dedicated water play area with children's slides and relaxation spots — before an afternoon of whirling rides and classic fairground fun across the park.

When the sun goes down, the all-ages party shifts to Luna Village, Luneur Park's free open-air evening festival. From 7pm onwards, the park transforms into a lively hub of food stalls, live music performances, and family entertainment beneath the Roman summer sky.
The Ferragosto weekend music programme is stacked: on August 14, UFO Rock Band kicks things off with rock reinterpretations of the most beloved cartoon theme songs; August 15 sees Dam James take centre stage with a night of '90s classics; and on August 16, the Ladisa theatre company closes out the long weekend with a mesmerising blend of visual art and theatrical performance.
