1. Sport For All Day 2026

To encourage everyone to get active, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will hold "Sport For All Day 2026" on 2 August. Designated sports centres across all 18 districts will offer free recreational activities, including martial arts demonstrations, handball, football, rowing, equestrian, skateboarding and other Asian Games-inspired fun zones and virtual games. Activities suitable for all ages and abilities — including persons with disabilities — ensure everyone can join the sporting fever!

Interested participants should collect event vouchers from LCSD district leisure services offices and designated venues starting 20 July. Vouchers are required for entry on the day, with limited walk-in slots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Hong Kong Football Fest 2026

The Hong Kong Football Fest returns to Kai Tak Main Stadium, bringing together four European powerhouses. The opening match sees four-time Premier League champions Manchester City take on three-time Champions League winners Inter Milan. The second fixture features Chelsea facing legendary Italian giants Juventus — the first club in history to win all three major European trophies. As a crucial pre-season warm-up for all clubs, and following last year's record attendance, this summer's football fever is set to sweep the city once again. Manchester City and Chelsea will also hold open training sessions for fans to watch their stars up close.

3. TIMA TMElive International Music Awards 2026

The 2026 TIMA International Music Awards (TMElive International Music Awards) will bring together top singers and music groups from around the world. They will share the stage to deliver spectacular performances, creating an up-close, interactive music extravaganza. This is more than a city-wide music carnival — it's a celebration of the music world's highest annual honours, uniting all music lovers in shared joy and passion.

4. "Beat The Summer" 80s-Themed Pool Party at Water World

Water World is throwing its biggest water music party since opening! On weekend evenings during the event period, celebrity DJs will drop Cantopop remixes to ignite the atmosphere, backed by dazzling visual effects. The park is decked out in retro 80s style, featuring neon light installations perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. Visitors can also join activities including Asian idol group performances, stand-up paddleboard yoga, watersports battles, and eating challenges — a truly diverse summer experience.
