Product Details

The Ding Ding tram is Hong Kong's double‑decker tram system. This mode of transport from a century ago is now preserved only in Hong Kong. The tram route runs east‑west across the northern part of Hong Kong Island, with the most comprehensive coverage on the Kennedy Town to Shau Kei Wan line, which takes about an hour in total and is the most suitable section for visitors to experience. Riding the Ding Ding tram is not only a convenient way to get around, but also an unmissable experience in Hong Kong. The tram moves at a leisurely pace, passing through both old street markets and bustling commercial districts along the way. The "ding ding" sound of the bell feels like a journey back in time — a wonderful opportunity to savour the many facets of Hong Kong.

The Ding Ding tram route runs east‑west across the northern part of Hong Kong Island, largely following the same alignment as the Island Line of the MTR. It passes through several key areas including Sai Wan, Sheung Wan, Central, Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Shau Kei Wan and the waterfront along Victoria Harbour. In other words, once you enter these areas, you are bound to come across the Ding Ding tram.
