Running through August at the Macao Cultural Centre, the 3rd Macao International Children's Art Festival brings together performances, art exhibitions, film screenings, art camps, workshops, carnivals and story-time sessions for the whole family. Here's a round-up of 7 programme highlights with dates, times, venues and ticket prices.
Puppet Theatre "Hamster in the Bug"
Performed by Rolling Puppet Alternative Theatre (Macao) for ages 5 and up. Shows at 7:45pm on 1 August and 2:45pm on 2 August, running about 60 minutes, in Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles, at the Macao Cultural Centre Small Theatre. Tickets MOP200.
"MICAF Kids' Playground" Weekend Party
A free "More Culture, More Happiness" weekend party runs 4pm-7pm on 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16 August at the Macao Cultural Centre Square. Free admission.
Kids' Book Nook — Pop-up Bookshop
Open 12pm-7pm on 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23 and 29-30 August at the ARTmusing Room, Macao Cultural Centre. Free admission.

Baby Theatre "Enchanted Forest Soundscape"
Presented by Miracle Makers (Macao), 5-10 August at 11am, 3pm and 5pm at the Macao Cultural Centre Black Box I, about 45 minutes. Two-person parent-child package MOP200, three-person package MOP300, spectator ticket MOP100; child tickets in packages are for infants 8-18 months, spectator tickets for ages 18 and up.
Puppet Theatre "The Heart of the Stone Wolf"
Fandango Theatre (Portugal) presents a show for ages 6 and up, 14-17 August at the Macao Cultural Centre Black Box I. Cantonese version with Portuguese and English subtitles; Portuguese version with Chinese and English subtitles, about 40 minutes, MOP200.
Children's Showcase "Peace and Future"
The Soong Ching Ling Peace Angels Art Troupe (Mainland China) performs at 2:45pm on 16 August at the Macao Cultural Centre Small Theatre, about 60 minutes, in Cantonese and Putonghua with Chinese and English subtitles. Tickets MOP50, for ages 5 and up.
"MICAF Kids' Fun Day" Art Carnival
The free "More Culture, More Happiness" art carnival runs 4pm-10pm on 21-23 and 28-30 August at the Macao Cultural Centre Square. Free admission.
