Product Details

Macau Tower is located at Lot 1, Zone D of the Nam Van Lake New Reclamation Area. As Macau's new iconic landmark, Macau Tower cost a total of MOP 1 billion. Construction began in 1998 and, after three years of building, was completed and inaugurated on 19 December 2001, officially welcoming visitors. The Chief Executive of the Macau Special Administrative Region, Edmund Ho Hau Wah, and the General Manager of Macau Tourism and Entertainment Co., Ltd., Stanley Ho Hung Sun, jointly lit up the Macau Tower. Since then, Macau Tower has become a new tourist attraction in Macau, greatly boosting the development of Macau's tourism industry. Combining sightseeing, conferencing and entertainment, the Tower is one of the world's top ten observation towers. The top level of the Tower houses a large revolving restaurant offering panoramic views of Macau. Standing on the Tower's observation corridor, one can take in the whole of Macau and Zhuhai, and on clear days even see Hong Kong's Lantau Island.

In addition, the Tower also features exhibition and conference facilities, themed restaurants, a premium shopping centre and theatre, an open‑air plaza and a waterfront promenade. Macau Tower is the 8th tallest tower in the world and the tallest observation steel tower in Southeast Asia, surpassing the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Rising 338 metres high with views extending to Hong Kong and parts of the Pearl River Delta, the Tower is hailed as Macau's new iconic landmark.

930-1.jpg

Looking out from a height of 223 metres, the 360° panoramic view is truly breathtaking! The observation corridor offers spacious areas for you to stroll at leisure. Its exterior wall, spanning three storeys, is made of toughened glass, keeping the interior bright and airy. Gazing out of the windows, you can take in the entire Macau Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane, and even look across to mainland China, witnessing the ever‑changing Pearl River Delta, especially Hengqin and Zhuhai.

Let us introduce the highlights for your visit:

1. Steel Nerves — Skywalk!

Not afraid of heights? Then test your courage on the reinforced glass floor! Look down through the toughened glass floor to the ground below! This area has been specially designed — whether you want to crawl, lie down, or even jump around, we guarantee your safety! Enjoy yourself to the fullest!

2. Capture the Perfect Moment!

You don't get the chance to walk 223 metres above the ground every day, so we have specially arranged to capture those perfect moments for you. In the observation corridor, we use a Kodak Magic camera to take photos of you and your loved one, making you feel as if you are suspended in mid‑air. This is an experience you will remember forever.

3. Enchanting Night Views Not to Be Missed!

After sunset, Macau exudes a uniquely charming atmosphere, with night scenes that are unforgettable and mesmerising. Dusk is the perfect time to head up to the observation corridor to admire the night views. As night falls, Macau's casinos and hotels light up with a dazzling array of ever‑changing lights, sparkling brilliantly and full of dynamism and vitality.
