Harry Potter Day at GAMM: Hogwarts Comes to Rome's Video Game Museum on August 29
On Saturday, August 29, GAMM – Rome's Video Game Museum turns into Hogwarts for a special day dedicated to the world of Harry Potter, marking 25 years since the first film in the saga hit cinemas.

The event takes place at Via delle Terme di Diocleziano 35/36, just steps from Termini Station, and invites visitors to join a series of activities inspired by the beloved saga: from being sorted into one of the four Hogwarts Houses — Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff — to a Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions tournament on the museum's giant LED wall. The points scored by participants across the challenges will decide the winning House of the day.
Quizzes, a Horcrux hunt and fan art on display
The programme also features a Harry Potter quiz spanning the books, films and video games, plus a hunt for seven hidden Horcruxes scattered around the museum's halls. A playlist of music taken from the saga's video games will provide the day's soundtrack.
GAMM has also opened the floor to community creativity: until August 28, anyone can send their own Harry Potter fan art to events@gammuseum.com or via direct message on the museum's Instagram profile. The works received will be exhibited inside GAMM during the event.
Three prizes up for grabs in the final draw
One of the day's most anticipated moments is the final draw, open free of charge to all visitors who register directly at the museum on August 29. Three themed prizes are up for grabs: first prize is the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Grounds 76419 set, second prize a Sorting Hat, and third prize a lamp inspired by Platform 9¾.
The full programme and event updates are available on GAMM's social channels and official website at www.gammuseum.com.
