Doraemon Secret Gadget Exhibition Celebrates Fujiko F. Fujio Museum's 15th Anniversary in Kawasaki

SaveThe Fujiko F. Fujio Museum in Kawasaki is pulling out all the stops for its 15th anniversary. From July 1, 2026 through June 20, 2027, the museum will host a landmark exhibition dedicated to the most iconic element of Fujiko F. Fujio's beloved masterpiece Doraemon: the secret gadgets.

If you grew up dreaming about the Anywhere Door, the Bamboo Copter, or the Time Machine, this is your pilgrimage. The exhibition spotlights the ingenious inventions that have captured imaginations across generations, diving deep into how Fujiko F. Fujio's boundless creativity turned everyday childhood wishes into unforgettable stories. Original manuscript artwork will rotate between two phases — the first running July 2026 through January 2027, and the second from January through June 2027 — giving repeat visitors fresh material to discover.
And upstairs in the F Theater, a brand-new animated short premieres: Doraemon & F Characters: The Great Gadget Mix-Up Adventure!
