Tucked inside The Five, NomNom East is a contemporary food hall built around one beautifully simple idea: bringing people together through good food — whatever they're in the mood for. With six distinct eateries under one roof, settling on a dining spot just got a whole lot easier.

The Sights of Asia

Step inside NomNom East and you'll quickly realise the experience goes far beyond the plate. Drawing inspiration from the energy of Asian street markets, the space comes alive with bold colours, eye-catching typography and playful design details. The green tiles framing the entrance signage are a nostalgic nod to the tiled exteriors found throughout Asian homes and everyday streetscapes.

Adding further character is a striking mural by local graffiti artist Kenji Chai, with familiar dishes and Asian-inspired motifs woven cleverly into the artwork. Even the name tells a story: 'NomNom' captures the simple joy of great food, while 'East' celebrates the diverse flavours, culinary traditions and cultures that converge across its eclectic mix of eateries.

A Melting Pot of Flavours

Bringing this vision to life are six standout tenants, each offering its own distinctive take on flavours from across the region and beyond. Japanese cuisine takes centre stage at Tokyo Ramen, where Chef Masaki Arakawa marries traditional techniques with halal-friendly preparation to craft hearty, soul-warming bowls of ramen. For something quicker, Uokatsu Express serves up nourishing Japanese rice bowls perfect for eating on the go.

Craving a taste of home? Tiffin & Tang delivers classic Malaysian comfort food — think Nasi Nusantara, fragrant curry laksa, fish head noodles and traditional local coffee. Fans of Indian cuisine should make a beeline for Fierce Kitchen, where banana leaf rice is the signature draw, accompanied by homemade lassi from the Lassi Company in an array of refreshing flavours.

Venturing beyond Asian fare, NaRoa introduces a Mediterranean-inspired café experience — fresh sandwiches, wraps, quality coffee and healthy juices make it an ideal pitstop for a casual catch-up or a well-earned midday break. For a sweet finish, Jogak Bingsu crafts authentic Korean desserts and bingsu using 100% premium soya milk. The matcha cup bingsu is a standout, though the pan-fried hotteok is equally worth ordering as a warm, comforting treat.

The food hall's lineup is set to grow further with the arrival of Wellcraft, bringing a curated craft beer selection to NomNom East.
