Shanjia Riverside Park Water Lily Pond

The water lily pond at Shulin's Shanjia Riverside Park is currently at peak bloom, with delicate flowers scattered across emerald-green lily pads, casting a romantic spell over the riverside landscape. According to the High Riverbank Construction Office, water lilies begin blooming in April each year, with summer being the optimal viewing period. The flowers open during the day and close at night, so a morning visit is recommended to capture the most stunning display.

Water lilies are most famous for their leaves and blossoms floating gracefully on the water's surface, often forming beautiful reflections against blue skies and white clouds — a photographer's dream. Come July and August, the lotus flowers along the pond banks will follow suit, creating a rare scene where water lilies and lotus blossoms bloom side by side. Visitors can also cycle or stroll along the Dahan River bike path and soak in the tranquil waterfront atmosphere.

Jinshan Liusan Community Lotus Haven
