Vancouver Art Gallery Offers Free First Friday Evening Entry Supported by BMO

【Attraction Tickets】Vancouver Aquarium Admission Ticket (Vancouver Aquarium)
Travellers planning a cultural outing to Vancouver can take advantage of free admission to the Vancouver Art Gallery every first Friday evening of the month. Supported by BMO, the gallery grants complimentary entry to all visitors between 4 PM and 8 PM during these monthly sessions.
Booking Rules and Visitor Information
While admission is free, advance reservation is strongly encouraged to guarantee entry. Tickets for each event become available one month ahead of time. Visitors may also try getting walk-in tickets at the door, but access remains subject to building capacity.
To manage crowd sizes and adhere to safety limits, bookings are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per group. Larger parties face the risk of being turned away during peak evening hours. Gallery members are also advised to reserve their spots online in advance if visiting on these designated Friday nights, although visiting on alternative days is recommended for a quieter experience. Anyone unable to attend after securing a ticket can notify customer service via email to release the reservation for others.
Year-Round Free Admission Categories
Certain visitors enjoy complimentary admission to the gallery beyond the monthly Friday night events. Year-round free access is permanently available to kids and youth aged 18 and under, Indigenous Peoples, Gallery Members, and Access Pass Holders.
