This visit to Japan was made possible by the Mauritshuis's temporary closure for renovation work. Museum director Martine Gosselink says: "For our museum, this journey of the 'Girl' is a special occasion, quite possibly the last, in which we can bring her to you in Japan." The exhibition offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to encounter 17th-century Dutch masterpieces through twelve works from the Mauritshuis collection, including Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" and "Diana and her Nymphs." *This exhibition uses timed-entry tickets. No same-day tickets will be sold at the museum. Please check the official website for details.
