Claude Monet is the great master of Impressionism, and the Pola Museum's collection of 19 oil paintings — spanning key works from his early to late years — is the largest of its kind in Asia. This exhibition displays the entire miraculous collection, while also, through the gaze of 18 contemporary artists from Japan and abroad, re-examines the act of "seeing" as our first means of touching the world, opening a new horizon for Monet.
