What Makes This Year Special
For its 50th anniversary, the Paley Center for Media is launching the inaugural PaleyFest Award — an annual prize recognizing outstanding contributions to media and entertainment. Every recipient will have a curated selection of their work permanently preserved in the Paley Archive, giving it hall-of-fame status. The 2026 honorees span an impressive range of television: Billy Crystal, the casts and creative teams behind American Horror Story, Dexter: Resurrection, Tulsa King, Marshals, The Gilded Age, and The Diplomat. Each award recipient is also part of the festival's programming — so attendees get the rare chance to hear directly from the people behind their favorite shows.
Festival Schedule at a Glance
The seven-day event runs from October 8 through 14 at the Paley Museum in Manhattan. Opening night features an exclusive early screening of an American Horror Story: 13 episode followed by a cast-and-creators panel with Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Lou Eyrich. The remaining days are packed with screenings and conversations:
Oct 9 — Dexter: Resurrection screening & panel (6:30pm)

Oct 11 — Marshals screening & panel (6:30pm)
