Public Disco Festival Brings Underground Electronic Music to Vancouver's Waterfront This Fall
North Vancouver's Shipyards will pulse with electronic beats this October as the inaugural Public Disco Festival makes its debut — a one-day celebration of underground dance music marking a major milestone for one of Vancouver's most beloved event collectives.
Scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, the waterfront festival runs from 2 to 10 p.m. and brings an impressive international lineup to the West Coast. Headliners include UK producer Leon Vynehall, New York selector Fred P, Berlin-based Prosumer, and Detroit's DJ Holographic, with Vancouver's own Dane and Calgary's DJ Hannah rounding out the bill.
A Decade of Public Disco
The festival marks the 10th anniversary of Public Disco, the creative force behind Vancouver's popular summer street parties and pop-up events. To celebrate, organizers are pulling out all the stops with two full stages of music, plus a dedicated Vinyl Lounge inside the historic Pipe Shop featuring immersive audiovisual installations by Lobe Studios and ephemeral objects.
The full artist roster spans 14 acts blending live DJ sets with curated visual performances from Toi Whakairo, Clara, Laine Butler, and Ephemeral Objects.
Tickets & Practical Info
Tickets start at $55 (Tier 1) and rise to $65 and $75 for subsequent tiers — early purchase is recommended. The venue at 125 Victory Ship Way is easily accessible from downtown Vancouver via the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay.
