Dream Wheels on Eglinton 2026: Toronto's Giant Vintage Car Festival Takes Over the Street This Weekend

Toronto's midtown is about to transform into a sprawling celebration of automotive history as Dream Wheels on Eglinton returns for its fourth edition this Saturday, July 25.

Running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Eglinton Avenue West between Avenue Road and Castlewood Road, the free street festival shuts down the thoroughfare to traffic and fills it with polished classic cars, hot rods, and race machines — plus a full day of live music, local food vendors, and family-friendly attractions.

More Than a Car Show

Beyond the chrome and horsepower, the festival packs in a rich lineup of entertainment. Toronto bands including retro rockers The Serotones, surf outfit Fuzz Vultures, rockabilly group Shook Boys, and cover band Dudes of York will take turns on the main stage throughout the afternoon.

Attendees can vote for their favourite vehicles in the 'Best In' show awards, with trophies handed out during the afternoon ceremony. A vintage fire truck returns as a crowd-favourite photo backdrop, and the festival's signature Glamour Pin-Up Contest will crown one contestant as Miss Dream Wheels.

Plan Your Visit

The festival is free and open to all ages. Eglinton Avenue West will be closed to vehicles between Avenue Road and Castlewood Road for the duration of the event, so plan to arrive by TTC or on foot. The surrounding neighbourhood — known for its independent boutiques and diverse dining scene — makes for a natural post-festival stroll.
