Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, has been named the world's second friendliest city for customer service in a new global survey by the UK comparison platform MoneySuperMarket — the only Southeast Asian city to crack the top 10.
Second Globally, First in Southeast Asia
MoneySuperMarket analysed more than 100,000 customer reviews of restaurants, attractions, entertainment venues and leisure activities across 107 cities worldwide to compile its "10 Friendliest Cities for Customer Service" list. Hanoi placed second with a positive customer-service rating of 58.6%.
Hospitality Rooted in Culture
The ranking highlighted Hanoi as a destination where friendly staff and attentive service significantly enrich the visitor experience. The report notes this warmth reflects Vietnam's long-standing cultural values of community spirit, social harmony and welcoming guests — qualities that have repeatedly landed Vietnam among the world's most welcoming countries.
