B.C.'s Golden Skybridge Debuts Eagle Net Park: A Suspended Forest Canopy Adventure

A brand-new treetop experience has arrived in British Columbia, and it's one worth adding to your summer bucket list. Eagle Net Park, the latest addition to Golden Skybridge — home to Canada's tallest suspension bridge — invites visitors of every age to see the forest from a completely new angle, suspended high among the canopy.

Covering close to 500 square metres and hovering seven metres above the ground, this family-oriented attraction is thoughtfully designed so that everyone from toddlers to grandparents can take part.

The park features oversized climbing nets, twisting tunnels, scenic lookout decks and aerial walkways that gaze down into the canyon below. If you've ever imagined what it might feel like to drift through the treetops, this is your moment.

'Eagle Net Park gives families yet another way to experience Golden Skybridge,' explains Stuart Back, COO at Pursuit. 'We've opened the canyon to every guest, no matter their age.'

Visitors are free to walk, bounce or crawl across the suspended nets — and there's plenty of room to do all three at once.

Jason Crawford, general manager at Golden Skybridge, describes the vision: 'Inspired by the eagles that ride the thermals above the canyon, Eagle Net Park lets guests feel as though they've become part of the canopy. Climbing between lookout points, they'll encounter the forest from a vantage point that's completely unique to Golden Skybridge.'

The opening represents another milestone in Golden Skybridge's long-term plan, developed alongside EcoSign Mountain Resort Planners and The Trekking Group, to deliver world-class outdoor adventures for all generations.

Every new feature is designed to bring travellers closer to Canada's most dramatic natural landscapes.

Eagle Net Park follows this summer's introduction of Rockies Rangers, a self-guided discovery programme available across seven Pursuit locations. Children under 16 can collect embroidered badges while learning about the region's wildlife, heritage and geography along the way.

Ready to plan the trip? A visit to Golden Skybridge also means you can ride the Railrider Mountain Coaster — Canada's largest alpine coaster — zip through the sky on a zipline, or test your aim at the axe-throwing lanes.

There's also three kilometres of walking trails to wander, a compact adventure playground for younger visitors, and a casual outdoor dining spot for a bite between activities.

Admission & Pricing

Entry to Eagle Net Park comes included with every Bridge Pass, priced at $47 per adult and $30.54 per child, granting access to both the Skybridge and Eagle Net Park. Upgrading to the Adventure Pass — $107 per adult, $47.77 per child — unlocks the Railrider Mountain Coaster, the Canyon Edge Challenge Course and the Sky Zipline.
