Open-Air Cinema Under Milan's Stars: Films from €5 at Mare Culturale Urbano All Summer
Until 15 September, the courtyard of Mare Culturale Urbano transforms into a summer open-air cinema — "cinema in cuffia" (headphone cinema). Throughout the summer, audiences can enjoy screenings of the year's best films released in cinemas. In the Cenni di Cambiamento square, this social housing complex near Cascina Torrette will screen top cinema releases, including Italian and international arthouse films, some in original language with Italian subtitles. Saturday evenings are generally dedicated to films for children and families.

August and September Programme
Following July's packed schedule, the programme continues: Sunday 2 August — Oliver Stone's "Snowden" (free entry); Sunday 6 September — Adam McKay's "Vice" (also free entry). CineMare 2026 programming will continue through September, with updated schedules available on the Mare Culturale Urbano website.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased on the day of the screening at the neighbourhood bar Da Sadino, or online. Full price: €6, reduced: €5. Additionally, selected European films are available at just €3.50 through the "Cinema Revolution" initiative dedicated to European cinema.
