70,000 Sunflowers Bloom at Harvest Hill in Osaka This Summer — Free with Park Entry

SaveFrom late July through late September, Harvest Hill in Sakai City puts on a dazzling display of 70,000 sunflowers across two staggered fields. Visitors can stroll right into the blooms for photos at peak flowering, while a Welcome Garden near the entrance adds multi-flowered varieties into the mix — making this one of Kansai's most photogenic summer outings.

Blooming Schedule
Sun Hill: Late July to mid-August 2026. Peak viewing around early August.
Moon Hill & Star Hill: Mid-to-late August 2026. Peak viewing from mid-August onward.
Welcome Garden: Mid-June to late September 2026. Best from July 11.
Note: flowering times may shift depending on weather conditions.
Admission
Sunflower viewing is included with the standard Harvest Hill entrance ticket — no extra charge.
Location
Village area flower fields (Sun Hill, Moon Hill & Star Hill) and City area flower garden (Welcome Garden), within Harvest Hill.
Getting There
Catch the Nankai bus bound for Harvest Hill from bus stop No. 6 at Izumigaoka Station on the Senboku Rapid Railway. The ride takes about 20 minutes.
