On Friday 24 and Saturday 25 July, Milan's Idroscalo hosts the Water Lantern Festival, an event dedicated to sharing and connection. This sensory experience offers the chance to spend an evening outdoors surrounded by hundreds of floating lights. Guests can enjoy DJ sets, a variety of food stalls, and recreational activities.

The Ritual
During the event, participants can write a personal message — whether a wish, a reflection, or a thought of gratitude — before releasing eco-friendly lanterns onto the water. Those wishing to take part can also purchase a kit with all the necessary materials. Tickets are available on the dedicated website.
