Beginning Wednesday, July 29, the Museum of Arts and Design at Columbus Circle is transforming part of its gallery space into "Welcome to the Runway: An Immersive Experience." This free-with-admission pop-up celebrates the streaming premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on Disney+ and Hulu. Open through August 9, the interactive installation lets fans walk through some of the sequel's most iconic fashion moments, with Instagram-worthy photo opportunities at every turn.
The experience brings several film-inspired settings to life, including Miranda Priestly's notoriously intimidating desk and the legendary Runway magazine closet — where visitors can pose like they've just scored fashion's most impossible internship. Before or after exploring, guests can enjoy a personalized styling session and master the art of the runway walk, then strut down a sleek white catwalk while cameras capture their moment on video.
Throughout the exhibition, original costumes worn by Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and other cast members will be on display, offering an up-close look at the wardrobe that cemented The Devil Wears Prada as one of the most influential fashion films of the past two decades. Whether you quote "That's all" on a daily basis or simply want a unique summer outing, the installation delivers a glamorous escape into the world of high fashion.
