The University of Toronto, commonly referred to as U of T, is a public federal research university with three campuses located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the most prestigious universities in Canada and the world. Its main campus, St. George Campus, is situated in downtown Toronto, with its main buildings surrounding Queen's Park and adjacent to the Ontario Legislative Building.

Toronto City Hall was built in 1965 and is located in the city centre. Its shape resembles a seashell, consisting of two curved towers that surround a domed council chamber. The design is novel and unique, with the two crescent‑shaped towers embracing a mushroom‑shaped council chamber. The entire architectural design was conceived by Finnish architect Viljo Revell. The flying saucer‑shaped council chamber sits between the two towers, with the overall layout resembling two hands guarding the chamber, and when viewed from above, it looks like an open eye. The distinctive shape of City Hall makes it one of Toronto's main landmarks, representing the history and growth of the city.
