Toronto Aga Khan Museum Hosts Fasayfisa Mosaic Workshop for Islamic Heritage Month

Visitors in Toronto can take part in the Fasayfisa': Introduction to Mosaic Workshop at the Aga Khan Museum this October, held as part of Islamic Heritage Month 2026.
The one-hour sessions take place at 1 pm on Saturday, October 17, Sunday, October 18, and Sunday, October 25, 2026. Regular tickets cost $20 and include all materials. Participants will create a small ornament using glass tiles, drawing inspiration from Islamic art and architecture patterns found in the museum collections.
The workshop is suitable for ages 12 and older. Both children and caregivers require tickets, and children 12 and under must be supervised by a caregiver.
Museum Hours and Notices
Visitors should note upcoming schedule changes at the Aga Khan Museum:
The museum will be closed on Friday, September 25, 2026, for the annual Lapis Ball.
The museum will close early at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, for a private event.
