Skaftafellsjökull Glacier Hiking Tour


(1) English‑speaking guide, all necessary equipment (ice axe, crampons, climbing harness and helmet);
(2) Coffee and chocolate;

(2) Waterproof clothing, supportive shoes, beanie and gloves, neck gaiter and summer hat;
(1) Participants must be at least 8 years old to join this activity; children aged 8 and above are charged the same as adults;
(2) To join this activity, the minimum shoe size for participants is EU size 34;
(1) This tour involves extensive hiking, please ensure you are in good physical condition to participate;
(2) Due to large amounts of ice melting daily, the glacier is constantly changing, causing ice formations to appear and disappear within hours;

(1) Warm clothing, base layer (shirt/T‑shirt), thermal layer (fleece sweater/polar fleece sweater/down jacket);
(2) Outer layer (waterproof clothing), hiking trousers/fleece trousers, socks (wool/hiking);
(3) Hiking/climbing boots (boots with ankle support are required to prevent sprains; rental service is available on site);
(4) Please dress appropriately according to the weather on the day;
(5) Jeans are not recommended for glacier hiking tours;

If cancellation is made up to 24 hours before the participation time after order confirmation, a 3% cancellation fee will be charged.
If cancellation is made within 24 hours before the participation time, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
If cancellation is made after the participation time, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

The meeting point is not far from the Skaftafell Visitor Centre in southeast Iceland. No refunds for latecomers or no‑shows. Please arrive 20 minutes before departure time
