Start your glacier adventure at the hut in Skaftafell National Park, where your certified guide will meet you before taking a 4x4 vehicle through stunning scenery to the majestic Falljökull glacier.
You will put on crampons and receive essential safety instructions before stepping onto the glacier. As you explore crevasses, moulins, and striking ice formations, your guide will share insights about glacial movement and climate change.
【Itinerary Reference】:
Outbound: Meet at the Arctic Adventures Skaftafell booking centre. Optional departure times: 08:40, 10:00, 12:40, 14:20 (please ensure you join the activity at the time selected during booking). Skaftafell is 327 km (203 miles) from Reykjavík. The nearest towns to Skaftafell are Kirkjubæjarklaustur, 69 km to the west, and Höfn, 130 km to the east. Meeting point: Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time. No refunds for latecomers or no‑shows.
