【Lake Toya Fireworks Festival】 On summer weekends, Lake Toya holds a fireworks festival in the evening, where you can see the reflection of the blooming fireworks on the lake surface. The Lake Toya Fireworks Festival is held from late April through October.

【Showa Shinzan and Bear Farm】 Located near the entrance of the Showa Shinzan Ropeway, the Bear Farm raises about 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears. Brown bears are the largest wild mammals in Hokkaido.
【Lake Shikotsu】 The charm of Lake Shikotsu lies in the "Shikotsu Blue" ‑ the shimmering blue surface of the lake attracts countless visitors. This blue colour is created by the clear water surface under sunlight, and the water quality here is one of the most renowned in Japan.

【Lake Toya Lakeside】 Lake Toya is approximately 11 km at its longest from east to west, about 9 km at its widest from north to south, with a circumference of 50 km, an elevation of 84 m above sea level, and an average depth of 117.0 m. The lake water is crystal clear. The lake surface never freezes even in winter, making it the northernmost unfrozen lake in Japan, with clear and beautiful waters all year round.
