The voucher is valid for 90 days from the order confirmation date, expiring at 23:59 on the last day
Please present the e‑voucher
(1) Children aged 0‑5 are free of charge;
(2) From 1 April 2025, non‑Japanese passport holders are eligible to purchase and use the Japan Rail Pass without the need for a 'Temporary Visitor' status;
(3) Please note that the original passport must be presented at the time of purchase; photocopies or residence cards will not be accepted;
(1) Upon arrival in Japan, please exchange your voucher and passport for the JR Pass at the airport or at a major JR ticket office;
(2) The exchange voucher is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance; please exchange it for the JR Pass within this period;
(3) The JR Pass can only be exchanged using a voucher issued in your personal name;
(1) Seat reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance via the JR East official website;
(2) Seat reservations can be made at the ticket office with the assistance of station staff;
(3) Please use the reserved seat ticket machines to book seats; for instructions, please refer to the guide: English version / Chinese version / Korean version;
If cancelled before redeeming the voucher within 12 months after order confirmation, a 90% refund will be granted.
No refund will be given under the following circumstances: (1) Ticket collected at the station; (2) More than 12 months after order confirmation.
If the English name filled in during booking is incorrect, a free cancellation can be made. For refund requests, please contact Hopetrip customer service.
If a redemption voucher has been received, please keep the voucher and contact customer service to apply for a refund.
