▼Kawaguchiko Sky Torii ‑ Fujisan Yohai‑sho ‑ Hidden Gem for Fuji Mountain Photography (approx. 40 minutes)

At Kawaguchi Asama Shrine in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, the Sky Torii at the Yohai‑sho (worship‑from‑afar site) on the rear mountain has become an excellent spot for viewing Mount Fuji, and is very popular among tourists on social media.

The term 【Yohai】 refers to people worshipping from a distance in order to appease the wrath of the gods. In spring 2019, in order to allow visitors to worship the sacred Mount Fuji from afar, the shrine levelled the slope of the rear mountain and set up the Torii Yohai‑sho. As there are no obstructions to the view, only a torii gate and Mount Fuji can be seen when taking photos, hence the name "Sky Torii".

PS: Depending on the situation on the day, there may be queues. Photo‑taking time is limited to 2‑3 minutes per person on site, with a cooperation fee of 100 yen per person. If you are using photography equipment such as a DSLR camera, you will also need to purchase a supporter membership card for 500 yen (valid for 1 year). The above fees are at your own expense. If no good photos can be taken due to bad weather or other reasons, no refund will be given~

▼Kawaguchiko Oishi Park (approx. 90 minutes, free time for lunch at your own expense)

Oishi Park is a well‑known flower‑viewing spot, and the walking paths within the park are known as "Flower Streets". From late April, tulips and rapeseed flowers bloom, from August to around September there is broom corn, and after October there are salvia and marigolds, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of seasonal flowers alongside Mount Fuji in the same frame. The most famous lavender has its best viewing period from late June to mid‑July, and the park is also the main venue for the "Kawaguchiko Herb Festival" held during the same period.

▼Fugaku Wind Cave ‑ Natural Monument of Great Historical Value (approx. 30 minutes, admission fee included)

A horizontal cave that is easy to walk through for both children and the elderly.

Fugaku Wind Cave is a cave that was used as a natural refrigerator in the era before refrigerating machines existed, with an average temperature of about 3 degrees Celsius. This horizontal cave, with a total length of 210 metres and a height of 8.7 metres, has been designated as a Japanese national natural monument. Because the basalt rock on the walls has sound‑absorbing properties, one of the cave's notable features is that there is no echo inside. During the 15‑minute tour, visitors can see icicles that do not melt even in summer, lava shelves, rope‑shaped lava, and more. In 2012, a shop opened as a forest rest stop where visitors can purchase cold‑weather gear for the tour, as well as famous confectionery from Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures, Koshu wine, local sake, and other products. In the food court, visitors can enjoy local cuisine such as Fujinomiya yakisoba and Yoshida udon noodles.

▼Narusawa Ice Cave ‑ Naturally Formed Cave Cool All Year Round (approx. 40 minutes, admission fee included)

The ring‑shaped Narusawa Ice Cave offers views of various and different cave features when walking the full circuit.

Narusawa Ice Cave is located on the eastern side of the famous Aokigahara Jukai (Sea of Trees) at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan, and is named after Narusawa Village in Yamanashi Prefecture. The cave was formed by the eruption of Mount Fuji in the year 864 AD. Since the temperature inside the cave remains between 0 and 3 degrees Celsius throughout the year, it was used for a long period of time as an icehouse to store ice for royalty and nobility.

Narusawa Ice Cave was designated as a natural monument by the Ministry of Education in 1929 (Showa 4), making it known worldwide and an extremely precious geological treasure.

▼FUJIYAMA Onsen Experience (approx. 70 minutes, onsen admission & towel fees not included)

"FUJIYAMA Onsen", home to Japan's largest pure wood‑built bathhouse, is located at the foot of Mount Fuji and is one of the rare beauty‑enhancing hot springs in the country. You can enjoy a relaxing soak in the bathhouse with its rich Japanese ambience!

※Swimwear is not permitted in Japanese hot springs. The baths are separated by gender, please be aware of this.

※Please wash your body before entering the bath.

※Please note that guests with tattoos will not be permitted to enter.

※Please tie up your hair and do not let it soak in the hot spring water.

※Please do not put your towel in the hot spring. You can leave it outside the bath or place it on your head or somewhere it won't touch the water.

※Please dry your feet with the mats provided before leaving the bath area.

Return to central Tokyo (approx. 1.5 ‑ 2 hours by car), arriving at Shinjuku West Exit Mizuho Bank entrance / JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit / hotel / ryokan, ending the day's tour pleasantly!

Note: Guests with the Meeting Point pick‑up/drop‑off package may end their tour directly at Tokyo Station or Shinjuku; guests with the Hotel/Ryokan pick‑up/drop‑off package, please wait for the shuttle bus to arrive, and you will be arranged to be returned to your hotel/ryokan to end the tour.

It is a shopper's paradise, with department stores, electronics streets, drugstores, trendy fashion shops and more. Department stores such as Odakyu, Keio and Isetan are all great choices. Shinjuku is home to Japan's most famous red‑light district, Kabukicho, which is packed with countless restaurants, bars, karaoke venues and adult entertainment establishments, earning it the nickname "Japan's Number One Entertainment District".

Shinjuku Station: One of Tokyo's most important transport hubs, with nearly 4 million passengers daily, making it the railway station with the highest number of users in the world. In addition, there are other famous sights such as Shinjuku Gyoen (a cherry blossom viewing spot), the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and Golden Gai.

Tokyo Station: Located in the centre of the Marunouchi business district in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, it is a complex station with platforms on two levels. The lines currently in use include: Tohoku Shinkansen, Yamagata Shinkansen, Akita Shinkansen, Joetsu Shinkansen, Nagano Shinkansen, Tokaido Line, Chuo Line (Rapid), Sobu Line (Rapid), Yokosuka Line, Keiyo Line, Yamanote Line, Keihin‑Tohoku Line, Narita Express, Tokaido Shinkansen, Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (station code: M‑17). Not only is it the starting point for many railway lines in Japan, but it is also one of Tokyo's major large stations. The main building of Tokyo Station, the "Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building", is one of Japan's Important Cultural Properties. It was renovated in 2012 to its current appearance, faithfully recreating the original appearance of the Tokyo Station building from 100 years ago.
