【5th Station】(Mount Fuji 5th Station is located halfway up Mount Fuji at an altitude of 2,305 metres. As Japan's tallest mountain, it offers a completely different charm whether viewed from afar or up close. Looking up at the summit from the closest possible distance, you can experience its awe‑inspiring majesty. On clear, cloudless days, looking down you can see the surrounding scenery and Lake Kawaguchi in full view. When enveloped in clouds and mist, you can look down upon the breathtaking sea of clouds.

A newly popular Instagram‑famous spot, known as one of "the 21 places every photographer in the world must visit before they die". This is the perfect location to enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Fuji. After climbing the 397 steps near the main hall, you can capture "Mount Fuji & the townscape below" in a single shot. Photographers and tourists from all over the world flock here to see this scenery. Not only is it beautiful during cherry blossom season in spring, but the fresh greenery of summer, autumn foliage and winter snowscapes are equally stunning. In addition to admiring the magnificent view of Mount Fuji, you can also overlook the charming streetscape of Fujiyoshida City.

The shimmering pond water blends with the majestic Mount Fuji to create a breathtaking scene that attracts countless photographers who travel great distances to capture the view. Oshino Hakkai is a nationally designated natural monument.

You can choose to browse the outlet mall or enjoy a hot spring bath with a view of Mount Fuji.

▼Gotemba Premium Outlets (approx. 2 hours) ‑ No Hot Spring

Gotemba Premium Outlets is a shopping mall with a panoramic view of Mount Fuji. It houses many famous Japanese brand stores, with luxury brands such as Gucci and Prada available in a full range of styles at bargain prices. Shopping enthusiasts absolutely must not miss this place.

※You may choose to get off and stay at the outlet mall, or continue with the coach to the next attraction: the hot spring bathing experience

Outlet Regular Closing Day: Once a year, on the 3rd Thursday of February. On the regular closing day of both the outlet and the hot spring, the itinerary will be changed to a choice between Lake Yamanakako sightseeing or Yamanakako Hot Spring.

▼Day Trip Hot Spring Bathing Experience (approx. 2 hours) ‑ No Outlet. Please note that the hot spring requires exiting the car park and taking the elevator; vehicles cannot drive up.

If you choose the hot spring option, we provide a pick‑up and drop‑off service to take you to the "Konohana no Yu" hot spring bathhouse, which opened in late 2019. The name of the hot spring originates from the goddess "Konohanasakuya‑hime", who is enshrined at Mount Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. The hot spring offers an unparalleled direct view of Mount Fuji and boasts high‑quality natural spring water from its own source. You can enjoy soaking in a large open‑air bath while overlooking Mount Fuji. In the event of a closure, the itinerary will be changed to Gotemba Fuji Hakkei or Gotemba City Hot Spring Hall, but the bathing fee will be at your own expense.

Return to central Tokyo. The return time is for reference only and may be earlier depending on the smooth progress of the day's itinerary and good traffic conditions. (Approx. 1.5 to 2 hours' drive) Arrive at your hotel/guesthouse and happily conclude the day's tour!
