Living in Incheon for many years has given me the opportunity to explore numerous travel destinations, taste various local foods, and experience the city deeply. Today, I am sharing five recommended places to visit in Incheon. This coastal city offers a wide range of sights and activities for visitors to enjoy. Let us look at these locations together.

Inspire Resort

Inspire Resort is Incheon's largest scale resort complex. It functions as more than just a hotel stay, providing various attractions, auxiliary facilities, and restaurants all within one destination. It is widely recognised as a prominent indoor attraction in Incheon, making it an ideal recommendation during rainy or snowy weather conditions.

The interior features an arcade room, renowned media art installations, and numerous dining establishments. The LED Aurora Show is displayed across a 150-metre-long screen, showcasing performances with various themes that appeal to visitors of all ages.

Chinatown

Incheon Chinatown holds the status of being South Korea's only official Chinatown, boasting a 140-year history as a centre of overseas Chinese culture. It stands as Incheon's most famous tourism area for jajangmyeon, featuring traditional eateries such as Gonghwachun and Junghwaru alongside festivals held annually.

With excellent accessibility from Incheon Station, the area is convenient for travellers exploring on foot. Combining a visit here with the nearby Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village creates a complete itinerary.

Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village

Situated adjacent to Incheon Chinatown and within a five-minute walk from Incheon Station, Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village is popular for walking tours. Wall paintings and decorations have been added to the existing neighbourhood to create a charming atmosphere reminiscent of a storybook setting.

The area serves as a suitable destination for couples on dates or families travelling with children. Walking through the village allows visitors to take photographs and experience the neighbourhood.

Songdo Moon Boat

Songdo Moon Boat is a recreational activity in Songdo and a popular dating course for couples. The activity is well-known among visitors, with boat rental prices ranging from thirty thousand to forty thousand won, making it accessible for couples and families.

Boarding is available during the evening hours, allowing passengers to ride the boats while taking in the night views of Songdo.
