London's autumn cultural calendar opens this September with major fashion homecomings, late-night museum residencies, and star-studded charity concerts across the city.

London Fashion Week Return & Fashion Britain Events

Running from 17 to 21 September, London Fashion Week makes a major return with Alexander McQueen presenting in London for the first time since 2022, alongside Christopher Kane's debut collection for Mulberry. Key showcases take place at 180 The Strand and various capital venues, featuring designers such as Burberry, Erdem, Simone Rocha, Roksanda, and Harris Reed. While main runway shows are invitation-only and livestreamed online, the British Fashion Council's 'Fashion Britain' initiative offers public talks and in-store events across town. Notable talks include discussions at the National Gallery, a Paul Smith feature at the Southbank Centre, and Jenkin van Zyl's Enclosure at Somerset House, alongside boutique events at Margaret Howell, Emilia Wickstead, Rejina Pyo, and Smythson.
