Priority Entry Ticket to the British Museum in London


Admission to the British Museum's permanent exhibitions is free. This ticket provides an English express guided tour and reserves your museum entry.

The voucher is only valid on the specified date (and time)
Show your electronic voucher to the VoxCity guide at the meeting point. The guide will exchange your voucher for an admission ticket.
(1) Meet your guide at the fountain in Russell Square (WC1B 5EH);
(2) Your guide will be wearing a “VoxCity” navy blue uniform and carrying a white “VoxCity” flag;
(3) Please arrive 5 minutes before your booked time slot and bring your own earphones;
(4) Please scan the QR code on your voucher to download the App and audio guide before arrival;

Cloakroom charges include: Coat 2 GBP, bag under 4kg 2.50 GBP, bag 4‑8kg 5 GBP, umbrella 1 GBP
Prohibited items include large bags over 8kg, wheeled cases, folding bicycles, etc. Please visit the British Museum website for a full list of prohibited items.
Pushchairs are allowed on site. Foldable buggies and pushchairs can be left at the cloakroom free of charge.

Last entry: 16:45 (Friday: 20:15)
Ticket sales: Monday to Friday (except public holidays) 10:00–16:50
Cloakroom: 10:00–17:00 (Friday until 20:30). Last deposit is one hour before closing.
Family Reception: 10:00–12:30 and 13:15–16:30, weekends and London Borough of Camden school holidays (opens in a new window) only.
Ford Centre for Young Visitors: weekends 10:00–16:30, and London Borough of Camden school holidays (opens in a new window) only
Galleries: 10:00–17:00 (Friday 20:30). Please note: we start clearing the galleries 10 minutes before closing.
