London Museum Docklands Hosts Free Toddler Sessions on 30 September 2026

London Museum Docklands is hosting interactive drama sessions for toddlers on Wednesday 30 September 2026. The 45-minute gallery-based sessions, titled Jobs on the docks, are designed for under-fives and their carers. Led by a storyteller, the activity invites children to act as sailors, dockers and fish porters by hauling ropes, sorting catches and loading boats.

Two time slots are available: 11.15am to 12pm and 12.15pm to 1pm UK time. The events are part of the Little Londoners early years festival. While the sessions are free, tickets are required and go on sale on Wednesday 23 September at 10am. Younger siblings are welcome but also need a ticket.

Visitors must arrive five minutes before the session starts, as those arriving more than five minutes late may not be admitted. Anyone needing to cancel a ticket can contact the box office on 020 7030 3300.

The museum is located at London Museum Docklands, No. 1 Warehouse, West India Quay, London E14 4AL, near Canary Wharf and West India Quay. General opening hours are daily from 10am to 5pm. Prams and buggies are permitted, though buggy parking is limited, so collapsible buggies or slings are recommended. A family-friendly cafe and museum shop are also available on-site.
