September marks the return to school, both for real-world students and for those of one of our favourite fantasy worlds — something DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ will celebrate this October.
The return to school is just around the corner, for Barcelona's students and for those of one of the most famous cinematic fantasy worlds in history: the Harry Potter™ universe. 1 September is the classic "Back to Hogwarts" date, when Harry, Hermione, Ron and co. first entered Hogwarts. To mark the occasion, Barcelona will host a drone show in a few weeks paying tribute to this moment and other key scenes from the film saga.
The event is called DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ and can be seen on 23 and 24 October at Parc del Fòrum. Tickets can be bought through Fever.

What is DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™?
DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ is an event that blends technology with music, using 1,200 drones (in two fleets of 600) to form figures instantly recognisable to fans of the films. With two fleets, there's always something happening in the sky: while one "works", the other recharges, and so on.
The result is stunning and moving, with drones recreating iconic film moments such as a Quidditch™ match, the meeting with Dobby, or Harry's incredible battle against Lord Voldemort. Naturally, the films wouldn't be the same without their spectacular soundtrack, which accompanies the whole show alongside fragments of dialogue.
Spectators also take part in the show through LED wristbands handed out on arrival that light up at key moments.
On both days (23 and 24 October), Parc del Fòrum opens its doors at 8pm so you can buy merchandise from the saga and eat and drink at the food trucks set up in the venue (including burgers, hot dogs, Asian food, vegetarian dishes and other specialities).
The show starts promptly at 9pm and lasts about an hour with a short interval.
