2026 Kaohsiung Coffee Festival This Weekend: 150 Stalls at Aozihdi Forest Park
The 2026 Kaohsiung Coffee Festival opens this weekend at Aozihdi Forest Park. Themed around 'iced coffee', the event brings together 70 local Kaohsiung coffee brands, artisans, indigenous tribal coffee producers and dessert bakers — over 150 specialty brands in total — letting visitors savour coffee amid the park and experience the city's lifestyle.

Award-winning Brands and Harbour-city Coffee Culture
Kaohsiung boasts a boutique coffee culture alongside indigenous coffee regions in Taoyuan, Namasia and Maolin, making it one of Taiwan's few cities combining urban coffee culture with indigenous coffee industries. This year's festival features over 100 specialty brands and top cafés, including World Roasting Champion 'Café natural wake', 'Hongxing Distillery' (gold medal at the 2026 Tokyo International Whisky & Spirits Competition), and 'KEEP Coffee Roastery' — ranked No. 46 on the 2026 World's 100 Best Coffee Shops, one of only four in Taiwan and the sole southern representative.

Coffee Experience Zone: From Bean to Cup
The on-site coffee experience zone invites world champions, experts and association leaders to guide visitors through bean selection, roasting, brewing and tasting, unlocking coffee flavours and craft techniques.
Bonus: Kaohsiung Family Playground
Taiwan's largest semi-indoor family recreation venue, the 'Kaohsiung Family Playground', has opened in the revitalised TRA Kaohsiung Workshop, preserving its steel structure and railway-industrial architecture with 30+ free facilities including a crane-net climbing installation, bouldering wall, parkour court and wheel ramps. This weekend is the last of the summer outdoor sessions, featuring a 6-metre urban water slide, outdoor water park, carousel and inflatable maze, with eight daily water-park sessions of 45 minutes each.
