Archipelago Hotels Expands With 5 New Properties Across Java and Sumatra

Archipelago Hotels — the largest privately-owned hotel management group in Indonesia and Southeast Asia — is ramping up its footprint across the archipelago, riding a wave of tourism growth. Foreign arrivals hit 6.07 million between January and May 2026, a 7.68% jump year-on-year, with the Southeast Asian market surging 11.06%. The accommodation and F&B sector meanwhile climbed 13.14% in early 2026.

To cater to an increasingly diverse mix of business travellers, MICE delegates, family holidaymakers and transit guests, Archipelago has unveiled five properties in five strategic locations:

The Five New Properties

Aston Cimone Hotel & Convention Center — Tangerang

A rebranded premium hotel aimed at business, MICE and family travellers. It offers 99 rooms ranging from 28 m² Deluxe Rooms to 64 m² Aston Suites. The Grand Mahameru Ballroom seats up to 1,000 guests, complemented by the Krakatau Room (200 guests) and Bromo Meeting Room (30–40 guests).

Aston Malang Hotel & Conference Center — Malang

Sitting in the heart of Malang City, steps from Universitas Brawijaya and Malang Town Square, this 101-room property spans five room types — from 22 m² Superior rooms to a 73 m² two-bedroom Penthouse, all with Google Nest voice-control tech. The 12th-floor Mahameru Ballroom holds 230 guests with mountain views, plus Saffron Dine & Lounge, Oud Spa, a pool and a gym.

Nawana by Alana — Sentul City, Bogor

A full transformation of the former Hotel Neo+ Green Savana into a 4-star sanctuary resort, debuting Archipelago's newest brand Nawana — built around tranquillity and harmony with nature. It features 142 rooms, Tanna Restaurant, a padel court, an outbound adventure area and family facilities. A soon-to-open Grand Ballroom with 800-guest capacity will become one of Bogor Regency's largest wedding and MICE venues. Just 45–60 minutes from central Jakarta.

fave+ hotel Lampung — Bandar Lampung

The fave+ brand's first entry into Lampung Province brings 128 smart rooms — all with Google Nest Hub — a pillarless ballroom for 350 guests, three flexible meeting rooms, Lime Restaurant, an indoor pool and a gym. It's 15 minutes from the Kotabaru Toll Gate, 35 minutes from Radin Inten II International Airport, and within easy reach of Pahawang Island, Kiluan Bay and Way Kambas National Park.

fave+ hotel Pamanukan — Subang Regency

Rounding out the first-half openings, this rebranded 107-room hotel in West Java's Subang Regency offers eight room types, including new spacious Deluxe Family and Executive Family Suite categories with bunk beds. Facilities include four meeting rooms, 24-hour Lime Cafe & Restaurant, a fitness centre, in-room massage, and sweeping rice-field views. It sits on the main Pantura route and is the closest accommodation to Patimban International Port.

"The growth of tourism shows that the need for quality hotel options relevant to each destination's character continues to rise," said John Flood, CEO of Archipelago Hotels. "Each of our properties is designed with an approach tailored to the destination and its target guests."
