Chiikawa Movie Collaboration Cafe Opens at Shinsaibashi PARCO for a Limited Run

SaveTo celebrate the beloved series Chiikawa's first-ever theatrical release — Chiikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island, hitting Japanese cinemas nationwide on July 24, 2026 — a themed collaboration cafe is popping up at Shinsaibashi PARCO for a limited summer run. The menu draws directly from the film's island-arc storyline, offering an immersive dining experience that recreates the meals, desserts and drinks seen on screen. While advance reservations are recommended to secure a seat, the takeout counter is open to all. Better still, the adjoining merchandise shop — stocked with cafe-exclusive goods, menu-themed items and general movie merch — welcomes visitors regardless of whether they dine in. Drop by before the film to build anticipation, or swing by afterwards to relive your favourite moments over themed treats.
