CNE 2026 Concert Lineup Revealed: Lupe Fiasco, Shaggy, JoJo & More to Play Free Toronto Shows
Summer in Toronto means one thing: the Canadian National Exhibition is almost here, bringing with it outlandish fair food, thrill rides, and — best of all — free live music. The CNE has just dropped its 2026 concert schedule for the Bell SOUNDSTAGE at the Bandshell, and this year's bill is stacked.
Teaming up with Billboard Canada and Rolling Stone Canada, the historic outdoor stage will host a mix of global superstars and homegrown Canadian talent throughout the fair's 18-day run this August and September.
To mark the 90th anniversary of the Bandshell venue, the 2026 series leans heavily into Canadian artists, celebrating nearly a century of live performances at Exhibition Place.
Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco kicks things off on opening day, Friday August 21. From there, the lineup barely lets up: multi-platinum rocker Bif Naked shares a bill with Montreal collective Bran Van 3000, while alt-pop favourite Lights, roots-rockers The Trews, and Canadian icon Tom Cochrane all take their turns on stage.
International heavyweights are well represented, too. R&B-pop star JoJo — of 'Leave (Get Out)' and 'Baby It's You' fame — headlines Saturday August 29, while dancehall legend Shaggy brings his chart-topping catalogue to the Bandshell on August 23. A surprise international headliner, presented by Billboard Canada, is also teased for August 28.
