About

【Exhibition Overview】

The Hong Kong Autumn Electronics Fair, also known as the Hong Kong Consumer Electronics Fair, is a leading professional exhibition in Asia covering electronic components, assemblies, production technology, solar photovoltaic and display technology. Held concurrently with the Hong Kong Electronic Production Equipment Fair, the two events complement each other, creating more sourcing opportunities for global buyers and helping all participants forge partnerships and explore new business opportunities.

The previous edition boasted a total exhibition area of 73,000 square metres, attracting 3,710 exhibiting companies from countries and regions including Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Germany, Italy, the UK and others. The number of professional visitors reached 60,258.

The organiser launched multiple subsidy schemes to attract a large number of quality buyers, including key management personnel from renowned companies such as Chitech from Brazil, TioMusa from Argentina, Menakart from the UAE, AVT from Indonesia, Reliance Digital from India, and Suning Cloud Commerce from Mainland China.

【Core Value of the Fair】

As a recognised flagship sourcing platform for Asia's electronics industry, the fair is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Since its inception in 1981, it has grown into one of the world's largest and most influential electronics fairs, earning the reputation of a "world-class electronics industry event." The 2025 Autumn Edition will bring together over 3,200 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, attracting around 60,000 professional buyers from 142 countries and regions, making it the core gateway for electronics companies to expand into the global market.

The fair provides one-stop coverage of the entire electronics supply chain, with product scope spanning audio-visual products, household appliances, smart home, computers and peripherals, digital imaging, electronic accessories, automotive electronics, security products, telecommunications products, electronic games, wearable devices, health and wellness, 3D printing and VR/AR, among others. Combined with the concurrently held terminal consumer electronics, electronic components and production technology exhibitions, it presents a complete ecosystem of the electronics industry.

The fair serves as a core hub connecting global quality buyer resources, bringing together premium buyers from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America. International sourcing groups such as Mondial from Brazil, Reichelt from Germany and Dewalt from the US all attend to source products. Related surveys show that 51% of industry practitioners expect sales growth in the coming year, with the Middle East, Korea, India and ASEAN identified as the markets with the greatest growth potential.

The 2025 edition focuses on three core areas: artificial intelligence, robotics technology, digital entertainment and the silver economy. It serves as a cutting-edge showcase for AI and robotics technologies, featuring a dedicated RoboPark robotics display zone showcasing the latest achievements of Mainland technology companies such as Unitree Robotics, CloudMinds, and BrainCo. A new "Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Pop-up Showcase" brings together more than 40 local innovation and technology forces.

The fair adopts a dual-drive "Exhibition+" model combining online and offline channels, integrated with the Click2Match intelligent business matching platform to enable precise pre-exhibition targeting of potential customers, face-to-face meetings during the exhibition, and continued online meetings for up to one week after the fair. It also integrates the "HKTDC Sourcing" platform, providing round-the-clock product display and business opportunity matching services throughout the year.

During the fair, over 100 professional events are held to deeply empower the industry, including the 10th Innovation and Technology Seminar, the Hong Kong Electronics Forum, and the AI-Driven Intelligent Building Monitoring Seminar, among more than 100 sessions. Industry leaders and technology experts are invited to share the latest industry trends, with matching business services helping exhibitors precisely connect with global sourcing decision-makers and enhance transaction efficiency.

The fair is a strategic springboard for Chinese brands to go global, bringing together top-tier Mainland technology companies. Many companies have secured substantial orders at the fair; for example, Pasinni Perception Technology reached an intended order worth tens of millions of yuan with a Southeast Asian client, and Shanghai Dolphin Robot signed a US$450,000 order with a Turkish customer on-site. Leveraging Hong Kong's "super connector" advantage, the fair helps Chinese enterprises go global, accelerating the adoption of technology in European and American high-end manufacturing and Southeast Asian smart service markets.

The fair offers exhibitors a window to tap into the growth dividends of emerging markets, with targeted invitations extended to sourcing delegations from emerging markets such as the Middle East, ASEAN and Latin America. Malaysia's Robopreneur plans to purchase US$2 million worth of robotic products annually, and the UAE's Alraja Trading has a sourcing budget of US$300,000 for electronic products such as car-mounted touch panels. Exhibitors can efficiently enter high-growth emerging markets through the fair.
