【Exhibition Overview】

    The China International Food and Catering Expo, abbreviated as the Food Catering Expo, is a key exhibition in the domestic trade and circulation sector hosted by the Ministry of Commerce. In 2016, the inaugural edition of the expo was formed by merging five different food and catering exhibitions and was successfully held in Changsha.

    The inaugural expo attracted leading quality food and catering brands from 21 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country, 12 overseas regions, and 14 cities and prefectures within Hunan Province to participate as exhibitors, drawing tens of thousands of professionals in the food and catering industry to visit.

    The target visitor groups of the expo mainly include the following categories:

    - Distributors, agents, sub-distributors, delivery companies and food supply centres with strong credibility and terminal sales networks

    - Large chain supermarkets, guesthouses, hotels, catering enterprises, wine cellars, and group-purchasing units of government agencies and schools

    - Online e-commerce platforms, wholesale markets for food and agricultural products, food chain stores, product specialty stores, retail counters and convenience stores

【Exhibition Highlights and Zones】

    The expo joins hands with all parties in the industry to advocate green consumption and quality living, jointly exploring new paths for the transformation, upgrading and innovative development of the food and catering industry, and promoting the upscaling of food and catering consumption.

    This edition of the expo features professional zones for coffee, wine, tea, bakery, catering and ingredients. The organisers have stepped up efforts to invite domestic and international buyers, aiming to build a whole-industry-chain matchmaking platform for the food and catering sector, helping enterprises with brand promotion and channel development.

    The 2022 expo was held at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Centre, with 1,190 exhibitors participating. The venue address is No. 118 Guozhan Road, Changsha County, Changsha City, Hunan Province.
