Science is humanity's enduring pursuit of rationality; art is the gentle sublimation of human emotion; and exploration is humanity's eternal instinct to defy mediocrity and journey across mountains and seas. China National Geography has been deeply engaged in nature exploration for years, using the lens as eyes and scientific expeditions as a measure, documenting the grandeur and intricacy of all things in the world. From 27 June 2026 to 21 November 2026, the China National Geography Exploration Exhibition · Changsha Stop grandly opens, bringing together the painstaking works of over a hundred top photographers and scientists. With more than 150 images combining scientific value and artistic beauty, paired with rare exclusive expedition materials, it delivers an immersive natural audio‑visual feast for the city.

This exhibition features a newly upgraded Seed Planet themed zone, gathering for the first time over a hundred rare seed specimens from around the world. Wind, flowing water, wildfires, birds and beasts... every seed carries its unique migration code, taking root along nature's trajectories, inviting you to unlock a one‑of‑a‑kind odyssey of life from a microscopic perspective.

Six themed scenes unlock multi‑dimensional natural wonders. From lush thriving jungle realms and deep mysterious underground caves, to the surging deep blue oceans and starry dark night wilderness; from untouched desolate extremes to surging river basins, the ultimate lens transcends scale boundaries. You can take in the majesty of mountains and rivers, while also observing the microscopic marvels of pollen and grains of sand, understanding nature's cycles and power.

Every image is a compelling story of exploration. The crystal‑clear waters of the Karakoram glaciers, the snowy fairy tales of the Philippine volcanic seas, the windy and thunderous surreal landscapes of Urho Ghost Town, the adorable pikas of the Western Sichuan Plateau... Photographers have traversed every corner of the earth, capturing fleeting natural wonders. Additionally, exclusive footage from the Antarctic Grove Mountains scientific expedition is revealed for the first time, recreating the fearless journey of polar research and paying tribute to the spirit of exploration that delves deep into the wild and ventures into the unknown.

Here, you are not just a visitor, but an immersive explorer. Say goodbye to superficial sightseeing; interactive experiences bridge the gap between science and art, with virtual jungle ecosystems and realistic recreations of deep‑sea secrets, making knowledge anything but dull. Amidst light, shadow and stories, feel the texture of nature, sense the power of life, and awaken your curiosity and reverence for all things.

In spring and summer 2026, come to this natural rendezvous in the city. Within a compact exhibition hall, glimpse the vastness of the world and embark on a deeply healing and restorative exploration journey.
