Sun Moon Lake
Located in Riyue Village, Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake is named after its two sections — the Sun Lake and the Moon Lake — which differ in water colour. It is the second largest lake and the largest natural lake in Taiwan, also serving as a hydroelectric reservoir. The lake sits at an elevation of 736 metres above sea level, with a typical surface area of 7.93 square kilometres and a maximum depth of 27 metres. 7. Adults and children are charged the same price. For children under 4 years of age, a child safety seat is required by Taiwan traffic regulations, at an additional cost of TWD 300, payable in cash directly to the driver. Please indicate this in the remarks when booking.
